896kW PV installation on industrial site

896kW PV installation on industrial site

Myriad Heat & Power Products Ltd have completed the final commissioning of 896kW roof mounted PV system.

The client has a number of large industrial buildings which housed energy hungry processing equipment.

The client were originally focused on the supply of quarried/recycled aggregates, site clearance, contract crushing and disposal of contaminated materials. As the Energy from Waste industry grew, they developed the process for Incinerator Bottom Ash (“IBA”) to be carefully blended with aggregate to provide a more sustainable, lower cost and higher quality product. They now have one of the most advanced IBA recycling facilities in Europe.

The processes involved in this business model are extremely energy intensive and both the Midlands sites are use vast amounts of electricity and as with many UK businesses they have had to deal with steep increases in electricity prices over the last two years.
