Maintenance of biomass boilers in ESCO Contracts.

Myriad are proud to be working with 2 care home groups in the UK to provide maintenance support for their biomass boiler systems.

Each have a number of biomass boilers across several sites and have an ESCO contract in place. The ESCO provider is contracted for 1 major service per year, whilst other maintenance requirements are the clients responsibility under contract. Due to the nature of the businesses, having a reliable heat source is important as well as a swift response to breakdowns.

Myriad put together a bespoke maintenance plan to include regular cleaning, minor servicing, flue cleans, and breakdown support. After consultations with the customers and ESCO provider we were able to establish a clear demarcation of responsibilities and a procedure which works for all parties. The customer has benefited from a quick call out response with agreed SLA’s, reduced boiler downtime, lower overall maintenance costs and a more reliable system providing continuity of heat for their residents.
