As with any renewable technology, your Heat Interface Unit (HIU) needs to be maintained to prolong its lifespan, ensuring you achieve a readily available source of heat and hot water for years to come.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL HIU SERVICE INCLUDE?

Whilst there are many different types of HIUs on the market, the principle of operation is fairly standard which means we are able to service the majority of brands we may come across.

✓ Overall inspection and checking for leaks
✓ Cleaning out the strainer if present
✓ Open/close all isolators to check operation
✓ Check operation of any safety valves
✓ Review all temperature measuring points
✓ Review flow rate and pump operation
✓ Inspect expansion vessel and record air charge pressure
✓ Record system water pressure
✓ Check electrical isolator works correctly and safely
✓ Adjust temperature control valves as necessary to provide correct temperatures
