For more than two decades, Myriad has installed tens of thousands of PV panels and battery systems. The benefits of our expertise, bespoke system designs, and dedicated service & maintenance engineers are undeniable.
Bradford Laser Cutting have partnered with Myriad to bring solar generation to their manufacturing site, with Myriad managing the project from design through to commissioning. For an electricity intensive business, generating its own power is one of the most direct ways to rely less on the grid, lower energy costs and cut emissions. The project also supports Bradford District’s goal of reaching net zero by 2038; with the resulting system generating an estimated 104 MWh of clean electricity and saving around 18 tonnes of CO₂ every year.
Myriad designed, supplied and installed a 123.7 kWp solar PV system at Bradford Laser Cutting’s site on Undercliffe Road, Bradford, with 266 DMEGC 465 W panels across the east and west facing metal roofs of two buildings. A FoxESS H3-Plus 100 kW hybrid inverter and 64.3 kWh of FoxESS battery storage lets the factory store surplus daytime generation and use it later. The system is expected to generate around 104,000 kWh a year, meeting approximately 39% of the site’s electricity demand and saving an estimated 13.6 tonnes of CO2e annually.
The project was delivered under a single contract between Bradford Laser Cutting and Myriad; who delivered the complete design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar PV system with a full system handover and O&M documentation.
